Abstract

Imagine a classroom where English isn't just about grammar and vocabulary, but a bridge to understanding the world, its challenges, and its diverse communities. This is the heart of teaching global citizenship through English. This article explores engaging methods for integrating global citizenship education (GCE) into English language classroom, transforming it into a space for cultural exploration (literature, film and media, virtual exchange programs), intercultural understanding (pen pal programs, cultural celebrations, guest speakers), critical thinking and action (debate and discussion, project-based learning, social media campaigns), supportive classroom environment (inclusive practices, collaborative activities, technology intergration).
