Abstract

The article is devoted to modern problems of studying somatisms as phrase-forming components, as well as the interpretation and systematization of somatic vocabulary. The purpose of the article is to describe the corpus of components of somatisms in Russian proverbs and sayings. The article provides a detailed analysis of the evaluative semantics of Russian proverbs and sayings with a component - somatisms of the глаза, руки, голова, борода.
