The article discusses the concept of tolerance, especially religious and interethnic tolerance, how distinctly and similarly they are interpreted in the spectra of philosophy. The analyses are conducted on the basis of “The Moor’s Account” by Laila Lalami and “On Toleration” by American philosopher Michael Walzer.
