Abstract

In this article, the issues of applying cognitive approaches to the formation of lexical skills of B1 students based on cognitive linguistic approaches and effective training techniques are analyzed. This article discusses the importance of the cognitive approach in the formation of the lexical skills of B1 students in the more perfect teaching of the English language today, the specific theoretical aspects of this approach in teaching, and the use of effective interactive methods in teaching them in practical training. Scientific information is presented about the enrichment of students' vocabulary, assignments, stages of formation of lexical skills, problems in teaching them with the help of special features and topics covered.
