Interdiscursivity can be understood as the outcome of producers‟ choice making, dynamic negotiation and linguistic adaptation. The interpretation of interdiscursivity, on the other hand, can be better achieved by tracing the specific ways of meaning generation from the four focal points of context, structure, dynamics, and salience, while at the same time taking into account the variability of interdiscursivity. Various kinds of communicative functions are realized when the interpretation of interdiscursivity is successfully completed.
