In this work, the problem of the implementation of the requirements of the state at the lessons of the English language when teaching writing is highlighted. As not enough attention has been paid to teaching modern written speech in English for a long time. Meanwhile, the knowledge of English written language is one of the conditions for the implementation of international contacts of schoolchildren, for the use of new opportunities for work in joint and foreign companies, as well as for continuing education in higher educational institutions abroad.
