The article presents the theoretical approaches to the advantages of teaching using information and communication technologies, one of the factors that positively affect the effectiveness of pedagogical activity. The world experience and the institutional basis of the measures taken in recent years in the higher education system of Uzbekistan are also presented. Based on the theoretical approaches, the authors draw conclusions and describe the factors influencing the effectiveness of pedagogical activity.
