Abstract

Every literary work reflects the socio-cultural aspects of the age in which it is written. The characters do represent various psychological changes taking place from time to time to get the desired outcome. The present particle is a description of different events dealing with historical, psychological, and other perspectives. It provides an analysis of the heroes of "Days Gone by". In addition, the views of the authors on the original meaning of the work are given. At the same time, there were events that were very characteristic of that period and were directly related to social development. The novel refuses to tell historical facts and the events are told in connection with a special event that constitutes the content of the novel. The aim of this article is to analyze the dark days and its relevance in the social interest
